Review - Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin

The Dark Souls II is indeed a smart game. It is too massive and equipped with incredibly rewarding sequel. It offers tense encounters and crammed with deep systems. However, not all the additions and tweaks performed best.

The new edition comes with intriguing world, some very rewarding challenges and fantastic combats. Its adjustments and additions are much appreciated.

If compared to the earlier versions available on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, the game on newer console comes with some notable enhancement. Also, if compared to the original PC version, the new edition for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One looks nicer. It has sharper textures, gorgeous lighting effects and more detailed character models.

The enemies in Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin have gone more powerful and those now strut around in early environments. Their placement has been reshuffled to give fresh and unfamiliar experience to gamers.

Apart from all these, the latest Crown Trilogy DLC is simply great. It is included from the start.

Verdict

The Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin is without any doubt an impressive game with much improved visual enhancements. The reshufflement of enemies' placement has added the real beauty in the game. The combats have become tougher as everything seems fresh and unfamiliar.
