The High is a short film about a teenager named Adam who is filled with hardship and finds happiness and joy only from smoking marijuana supplied by one of his friends. He gains new sense of purpose thereafter and starts making money by becoming a drug dealer.

Ralph Sepe Jr. is a New York-based director, writer and actor of short films who made his first film "The Story of Jonah" at the age of just five. His first recognized short film is "Paper Bag," made in 2013. "The High" is his first major short film released in June 2014. The film won him "Emerging Filmmaker" award and was shown at the Queens World Film Festival.
