Just 19 radical Islamic hijackers killed 3,000 Americans on 11 September 2001 (Monday). They rocked the entire country and not only the New York City by bringing down the World Trade Center.
Let us remember the lives which were lost 18 years ago on this day and honor the service and sacrifice of the country's first responders in the aftermath.
It was the worst act of terror the world had ever witnessed on the soil of United States. It was the darkest day and true acts of selfless bravery.
Never forget:
2,977 killed
343 were fighfighters
71 were cops

One of the unknown heroes of September 11th is ex-Army veteran Rick Rescorla, who got his employees out safely and then went back in to make sure everyone else got out too, dying when the tower collapsed. His story is truly incredible. #NeverForget pic.twitter.com/Hh1GT1UtFj— Josh Jordan (@NumbersMuncher) September 11, 2019
